Ashley H. Schofield was educated at Bootham School, a prestigious private school in the beautiful historic city of York. Humanities and the arts quickly proved to be outlets for expression and personal progression. Pursuing his love for history, Exeter university provided the perfect scholarly challenge, the rolling Devonshire countryside an idyllic setting built to inspire.
Following graduation, the City of London was next to be tackled. Taking positions within the financial markets, from both trading and brokering to client facing roles, Ashley thrived within the fast paced energetic world of global markets. However something was lacking……
His journey within international tuition began with a placement in Baku, Azerbaijan. Working closely with an experienced business manager, the team quickly capitalised upon the need for high quality tuition, working with a wide range of students. The success of this endeavour propelled Ashley into the world of private tuition.
Following Azerbaijan, Ashley sought international travel, tutoring in Kazakhstan, Switzerland, the south of France, Turkey and Russia. Moscow proved to be a base for a number of years, enjoying the energy of both the people and the city. With this wealth of experience, tutoring private clients for a range of examinations, both academic and business focused, he returned to Yorkshire to set up his own client focused initiative.
Thus Geascian Tuition was born. Built upon a love of tuition and a dedication to excellence, Ashley wanted to create something quite special within the tutoring field.
